DESIGNER: F. Helbing
PURPOSE: To raise funds for the aid of athletic associations
PICTURE: Parade of athletes in a stadium, skiing, skating, diving, fencing, scouts camping, soccer and hurdling
HISTORY: Stamps were sold at double face value, plus a premium of 10% on orders sent in by mail. They did not serve any postal need and were issued solely to raise funds for the athletic associations. Inscription on the back of the stamps is to this effect. They were in circulation until December 31, 1925. There are known copies used on covers from Hungary during this period.
