PAPER: Watermarked double cross on pyramid.
PERF.: 12
DESIGNER: Sandor Legrady
PURPOSE: In commemoration of the occupation of Transylvania, surtax of 50f each was for the Pro-Transylvania movement.
PICTURE: (SP58) Hungarian soldier marching towards Transylvania, behind him against a blazing sky is a medieval horseman.
(SP59) Patroness of Hungary, Virgin Mary, comforting a sufferer wearing a crown of thorns, symbolical of Hungary receiving back its province of Transylvania.
(SP60) A szekler (Hungarian) mother offering her infant son to the fatherland Hungary. Bright background with rising sun and church.
